Pete Zimmer Band

An eclectic mix of Authentic rootsy blues rock based music delivered in a unique and heartfelt style. Featuring some of the finest musicians in the Midlands, along with Pete’s rich melodic vocals and harmonica.

Pete Zimmer has been gigging and recording for over 30 years and has appeared alongside such luminaries as Steve Gibbons, Nine Below Zero, Mike D’abo and Trevor Burton. For the past 10 years he has been working with Martin Ratcliffe, producer and co-writer. In this time, Pete and Martin have developed a repertoire of choice covers along with some finely crafted original material.

For the last 5 years Pete and Martin have been joined by Al Sanchez on drums and Steve Avery on bass. The current lineup is currently engaged in a world tour of the black country and surrounding area, which shows no sign of coming to an end any time soon.

The repertoire is drawn from a wide range of renowned songsmiths such as BB King, Ry Cooder, Steve Winwwod, Tom Waits and Neil Young with a deferential nod to the old masters. Often, some of Pete and Martin’s original work is also featured.
