STARVIN RASCALS: Saturday, 18th December 2010

The Starving Rascals are a five piece, versatile and highly-talented band playing a wide range and variety of great music to please and satisfy the tastes of even the most discerning punter.

Originally formed more than twenty years ago, there have been numerous changes to the band but for the past ten years the line-up has remained unchanged. These years have seen The Band develop and establish their reputation as one of the best bands in the area.

The Rascals’ repertoire ranges from hard-hitting classic rock music to 50’s swing, soul, funk and more contemporary songs. All are performed to a very high standard, with great feeling, passion and a good helping of a’ la Rascals’ magic. (See the set list below for more details.) One of the main criteria for including any song in the set list is:- “Can you dance to it?” This alone, has helped to make the Starving Rascals a truly great “Party Band”.

With all five members of the band able to sing, one of the great strengths of the Rascals is their ability to create a full and harmonious vocal sound, which is often lacking with live bands.

If it’s great music and atmosphere you crave .... if you want to dance all night or just tap your feet to the beat ...
... you’ll be hard pushed to find a better band than The Starving Rascals.
